As the crescent moon
Drifts in the western void
City lights sparkle
Rays from a contagious sun
Hide on the lunar surface

As the sun slowly
drops behind distant mountains
cool air fills the sky
The warmth of day disappears
Dew covers the fallen leaves

Covered by the sun
Vast empty island beaches
Waiting for footprints
Feel the touch of the ocean
Feel the breath of a light breeze
